About the band
The Mike McCarthy Band blends Canadiana, country and roots influences with original songs, strong musicianship and rich vocal harmonies and a strong seasoned live sound.
Led by Mike McCarthy and Erica Prinn-McCarthy from Southern Georgian Bay, the band features Jerome Tucker on bass, Carl Harvey on lead guitar, Gabor Szepesi on keys and Rich Greenspoon on drums, bringing together musicians from Georgian Bay and Toronto.
Their live set features original material with carefully selected covers, moving from ballads to high-energy dynamic performances.
