After the Navy and co-writing a couple of tunes with Ivan Neville he moved to Chicago where the bulk of his career was formed playing bass and singing with Otis Rush, Dickey Betts, Warren Haynes, Larry McCray ( credited on Larry’s “Believe It” album), Eddie Clearwater, Teenie Hodges, Phil Guy, Melvin Taylor, Lonnie Brooks ect. Now living in GTA his band consists of Carl Harvey (Toots and the Maytals), Neil Brathwaite (Jacksoul, George Clinton, Wynton Marsalis), Rob Christian (Too many to list) Rich Greenspoon (Betty and the Bobs, Al Shorer). Playing many festivals per year, A Polished explosion of tight funky soulful blues is what they are.

Additionally, Rich has collaborated with notable figures such as Mike McCarthy. As a professional, Rich is one of the few teachers recognized by the late master educator and venerable Jim Blackley, to teach his world-renowned system. Rich has been with Soul Drums since the beginning and brings over 25 years of teaching experience to the table. As a session drummer, Rich has more than 75 credits to his name, as well as more than 30 credits as a producer/engineer.

During this time, Carl Harvey joined Crack of Dawn, Canada's influential black funk band that has recently reunited for several concerts and an album. In 1980, he became part of the original reggae pioneers, Toots & The Maytals. Over 33 years later, the band continues to be one of the top touring reggae acts globally, having released 30 albums, with Harvey contributing to more than 15 of them, including the Grammy Award-winning Best Reggae Album, True Love. Carl Harvey has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, such as The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews, Bonnie Raitt, and Sheryl Crow, performing at major festivals like Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, WOMAD, Reggae on the River, Fuji Rock, SummerJam, and many more worldwide. Additionally, Harvey's solo album, The Times, has garnered wide-ranging critical acclaim. He then went on to play with dozens of great local bands including: Bloodstone, Justin Paige, Lenny Solomon, Grant Smith, Sweet Blindness, Wayne Buttery & the Groove Project and dozens more.
As well as being in the musician world, Gabor is also the founder and past president of PA+. This company, a provider of world class audio services, quickly became the preferred supplier for Toronto’s top live venues including Massey Hall, Roy Thompson Hall, The Sony Centre & Harbourfront. PA+ had house sound systems in: The Jarvis House, Lee’s Palace, The Diamond Club, Rock N’ Roll Heaven, RPM & The Warehouse.
